She owns the strawberry farm her parents left her
She has horses & she calls the older men sir
Drives a big ol’ truck and also a Fiat for quick trips
Has dark curly brown hair & sunburnt lips
She’s a NorCal Country Gal
Her circle of trust is pretty tight
She’s at her nephew’s ball games
Every single Saturday Night
And she looks after her Grandpa
Who lives out in the Valley near Carmel
Her favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys
She’s an Irish-Italian sassy belle
Her girlfriends say she’s a hell of a pal
That NorCal Country Gal
Her husband is one lucky son of a gun
Every single man I know envies him
Her coffee colored eyes are heaven
She’s the talk of the town and the gym
She bakes a great double chocolate cake
And her Oatmeal Raisin cookies are the best
She’ll feed all the animals in the yard
And won’t ever need to rest
That NorCal Country gal sure has it made
Tolerates the haters who are throwing shade
Played a mean game of tennis back in the day
Which prepared her for what the jealous girls say
She’s a NorCal Country Gal
Her circle of trust is pretty tight
She’s at her nephew’s ball games
Every single Saturday Night
And she looks after her Grandpa
Who lives out in the Valley near Carmel
She loves them Dallas Cowboys
She’s an Irish-Italian sassy belle
And her girlfriends say she’s a hell of a pal
That NorCal Country Gal
She’s a NorCal Country Gal.

Lyric Notes: It’s about a real person who I went to school with, but it’s kind of mixed with some fiction too. You’ve gotta make a few little changes to kind of go along with the song and that’s called poetic license. I came up with the title one day, and she just popped in my mind. She loves the country, ranch life and so forth so it sure makes sense that she inspired this. She wrote in my yearbook that one day I’d be a great poet. What a gal.
