Give Me Some Hugs

Her neck is red
And mine is too
Her collar’s white
And mine is blue
I’ve been a victim
She’s not the one
Who shot me twice
With a silenced gun

She watched over me
Since I’ve been here
She’s helped me with
Depression and fear
She’s treating me with
Her smiles and the drugs
I just wish she could
Give me some hugs

These sheets are clean
The food’s just ok
Haven’t seen my family
Since the other day
I know I can’t leave yet
I have no yearning to
Cause I’d never see her
What would I ever do

She’s watched over me
Since I’ve been here
She’s helped me with
Depression and fear
She’s treating me with
Her smiles and the drugs
I just wish she could
Give me some hugs

The nurse I needed
My angel who’s alive
She’s a perfect wave
A flawless swan dive
When they release me
I’ll be needing her so
But she’ll never be mine
This, I already know

Yet she’s watched over me
Since I’ve been here
She’s helped me with
Depression and fear
She’s healing me with
Her smiles and the drugs
I just wish she could
Give me some hugs

I just wish she would
Give me some hugs
