Comancheros

There's a legend that runs wild
Through the desert and the plain
Of a tribe of fierce warriors
The comancheros, they were named

They rode their horses fast and hard
With arrows at the ready
Woe to any man who crossed their path
As their wrath was ever steady

Comancheros, hear the thunder of their hooves
Comancheros, feel the fear in your boots
They ride on through the night, their eyes aglow
Comancheros, they'll never let you go

They roamed the plains and hills
And no one dared to cross their path
For they were warriors, fierce and strong
And they knew how to fight and to last

They lived off the land, and off the game
And never wanted more
But when they saw the white man's ways
They knew what lay in store

Comancheros, hear the thunder of their hooves
Comancheros, feel the fear in your boots
They ride on through the night, their eyes aglow
Comancheros, they'll never let you go

But now their time has come and gone
Their lands are taken, their way of life undone
But the legend lives on, in the tales we tell
Of a tribe of warriors who fought like hell

Comancheros, hear the thunder of their hooves
Comancheros, feel the fear in your boots
They ride on through the night, their eyes aglow
Comancheros, they'll never let you go

Comancheros, their legend lives on
Through tales we tell, and songs we've sung
And we'll remember them, forevermore
The fierce comancheros, who rode like the wind and the storm
