I keep getting emails
from the girl in Sales
Sayin' we should go out on the town
Sayin' rumors are goin' around

We could be a thing

But little does she know
about my checkered past

I was in a punk band
Our songs were in demand
And we're itchin' to go on tour
So I said I'm not so sure
